The objective of the workshop was to communicate the findings of research conducted by QuakeCoRE to stakeholders from the Wellington City Council.
November 29 Attended the Canterbury Earthquakes Symposium, jointly hosted by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and the Christchurch City Council, in Christchurch, New Zealand. The objective of the event was to share lessons from the Canterbury earthquakes and plan for future natural disasters.

The objective of the workshop was to summarise current practice and determine future research directions in the use of Structural Health Monitoring techniques to characterise post-earthquake building damage.

February 27 Participated in the QuakeCoRE Flagship 3 workshop held in Somes Island, New Zealand. The objective of the workshop was to initiate the QuakeCoRE Flagship 3 coordinated project on "Addressing Wellington Multi-Storey Existing Buildings" through interaction of project participants, identification of 2018 milestones, and connectivity between the project components.
January 20 Authored a white paper for One Concern, Inc., titled "A data-driven approach to block-level earthquake damage assessment", peer reviewing the machine learning algorithms used to implement their disaster intelligence platform for next generation emergency response.
